Shipping and Postage
Costs depend on the weight of the order and the country of delivery.
We have two postage days, Tuesdays and Fridays.
We don't deliver to PO. Boxes or BPFO's
UK deliveries will take 2 days to arrive
European Deliveries will take between 3 and 5 days to arrive
Rest of the World Deliveries will take between 4 and 8 days to arrive.

—  WHAT IS THE COST FOR POSTAGE AND PACKING? You only pay for what it costs and there is only one delivery charge per order, no matter how many items in a single purchase. This depends on the weight of the delivery - see below for details. If an item is returned to us because the wrong contact details were provided, a signature was required and not given or the item is not collected from the postoffice then any losses incurred as a result will be the buyers responsibility. My Kolachi reserves the right to upgrade standard delivery options to require a signature upon delivery, at no extra cost to the customer. Please note that for international customers there may be costs added on by your country’s import duty laws and those costs will solely be the buyers responsibility.

— — WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM OUT WHEN YOU DELIVER? If you or the intended recipient is not in when our carrier attempts to deliver they may leave it with a neighbour, or in a safe place (i.e. hidden from sight and protected from the rain) if it is deemed safe to do so. A calling card will be posted through your door to let you know this has been done. If the parcel cannot be left in a safe place or with a neighbour, the carrier will take it back to the local depot, and leave you a card telling you that an attempt was made. Follow the instructions on this card to rearrange delivery.

— HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER? A tracking link is provided with your confirmation email. Your confirmation e-mail will be sent to you once your order has left our warehouse. Please note it may take up to 24 hours from receiving the confirmation email for the tracking link to become active.

— HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ORDER? We currently only accept payments via Paypal. It’s the safest option for both you and us and once you are registered its all pretty straightforward and tickety boo. What currency can I pay with? All currencies that Paypal is registered for which is most.

— CAN I HAVE A DIFFERENT BILLING ADDRESS TO THE DELIVERY ADDRESS? Once again that’s all in the hands of those folks at Paypal

— WHAT SECURITY CHECKS DO YOU HAVE TO ENSURE MY PURCHASE IS VALID? All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses to or does not for any reason authorise payment then we will not be able to accept your order. And those lovely folks at Paypal will handle all that. We at My Kolachi currently won’t see any of your credit card information.

The production process when working by hand can vary but we endeavour to ensure that we get the best product we can. This means that you cannot buy these products on the high street. — OUR PACKAGING IS RECYCLABLE We try to work in a paperless environment and our bags are all re-useable. Our packaging is also biodegradable.

Unfortunately, the world is not perfect and our predictions can be wrong and our technology can, sometimes, let us down. However we aim to do our best and we do make sure that our online stock levels are as up-to-date as they can be. WHAT IS A BACK ORDER? If an item is not yet in stock, but we are anticipating further supplies, we can put you onto back order. This means that when your chosen item comes into stock, we will send it on to you. CAN I GO ONTO TO BACK ORDER FOR A SOLD-OUT ITEM? Only if we are expecting further supplies. We no longer accept backorders for returned items, as this can sometimes lead to disappointment.

Please click here to see international shipping charges. I WANT TO CHANGE MY ONLINE ORDER, HOW DO I DO THIS? Sorry but we cannot make alterations or cancellations to online orders. This is because as soon as your order reaches us, it is rushed through to our warehouse area to be packed and sent. To make an alteration at this point would involve stopping the packing process and searching through hundreds of parcels, which would mean delayed parcels for everyone.

Care Instructions
All of our products are hand made with love. Without the use of chemicals, all our colours are vegetable dyed and the cotton is organic inside and out. Most quilts contain polyester inside but we use 100% cotton. Our Pashmina's are also pure, 100% Pashmina, no mixed products here. Same goes with our silk. No silk mixes. We are what we say.

— All cotton products are machine washable on a cold wash but the better care you take when washing the better, hand washing silk and cotton scarves and dry cleaning quilts and silk items.

Returns and Refunds
Please note imperfections of handmade products do not count as faults and will not be refunded.

— Ordered by mistake You are entitled to cancel your order if you notify us in writing within 7 days of placing the order. We will refund the cost of the order plus the original delivery charge. If we have already dispatched your items you must return them to us at your own cost.

— Still want to return your order? You can return products for a full refund if you return the item(s) to us within 10 working days of receipt. We will refund the original delivery charge paid, provided you return the full order, however the cost of returning the item(s) is at your expense. Please note that someone else may purchase this item so all returned products must be in their original packaging, with instructions and all parts included, in a fully re-saleable condition. Items must not have been used in any way. MY KOLACHI reserves the right to refuse a refund on any item not deemed to be re-saleable or if any of the above terms have been breached. Your refund will be processed within 10 days from the date the goods are received. The parcel and its contents are your responsibility until they are received at our warehouse - therefore we recommend you use a registered postal service and retain proof of postage. MY KOLACHI is not responsible for returned goods being lost or damaged in transit. Please ensure the product is packaged in good enough quality packaging to avoid any damage during postage back so that the product reaches us in a re-saleable condition.

— How to Return Please follow the steps below within 10 days of receipt: 1. Email us first at, telling us why. Without this, we may not be able to process your return. 2. Use the original packaging to repack your returns, ensuring that the product is packed well enough to avoid any damage during transit. The product must reach us in a resaleable condition. 3. Reseal the parcel and take it to the Post Office within 10 days of receipt. 4. Remember to obtain a Certificate of Posting from the Post Office. This is your proof if your parcel goes astray. We recommend you also use recorded delivery or similar, thereby obtaining a unique tracking ID. We will make a refund to the card you used to purchase your goods. This should appear on your card 5-7 days from receipt of the goods.

— Faulty/Damaged Item We want all our members to receive goods of the highest quality so if your product is faulty or damaged on arrival, please contact, team with details of the issue within 48 hours of receipt. We will arrange to collect the item up from you and wherever possible, we will do our level best to send you a replacement item however this cannot be guaranteed as once items are out of stock they may not be reproduced. All collections are made Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.

— Incorrect Item We are a small team and so its possible every so often mistakes may happen, but we will work quickly to sort them out as smoothly as possible. If you have received an incorrect item in your order, please email us at, and we will organise a free collection service to pick the item up from you. Wherever possible, we will endeavour to organise a replacement item for you, however this cannot be guaranteed as once items are out of stock they may not be reproduced.

— Return for Replacement If you return a faulty item, we will do our best get a replacement if there is one from our existing range. If we have sent you an incorrect item, we will endeavour to send you a replacement (subject to availability). If this is not possible, we will refund you, crediting the cost of the item and delivery to your payment card. In some rare cases and serendipitous moments we may have spare stock in the warehouse, or another customer may return an item that you would like to exchange for - in these cases, we will be able to supply you with what you wanted. These coincidences cannot be relied upon, however, and we are therefore not able to guarantee an exchange. The nature of MY KOLACHI does mean that we are likely to get popular items back in stock in future sales, so we recommend you keep checking your email newsletters and visit our promotions regularly in case the item you like is featured again.

— When will I receive my refund? We will get it to you as quickly as we can. We will process your return within two days of receipt. The refund will take 3-5 working days to appear on your card. We will email you once we have processed your refund.
